We chose the name Sant Jordi because Paulo Coelho once dreamed that Saint George was by our side, accompanying us along the way.

Saint George became the patron saint of our editorial journey. Saint George’s Day, on the 23rd of April, is a beautiful celebration in Barcelona, when the whole city is filled with books and roses. Furthermore, Saint George is the patron saint of Rio de Janeiro, the hometown of Paulo Coelho and Mônica R. Antunes. It is also UNESCO’s International Day of the Book.
