Paulo Coelho dedication of Okçu’nun Yolu (The Archer) to Mete Gazoz, the Turkish Olympic medallist in archery, and his video response on Twitter made an incredible impact in all written, visual and digital media, breaking sharing records on social media, becoming a trending topic on Twitter and being talked about for days. With this action, the publishing house was nominated for the “Kristal Elma”, Turkey’s most prestigious advertising and marketing award. Okçu’nun Yolu (The Archer) has topped bestseller lists in Turkey since its publication in September and is already on its 4th edition.
Paulo participated in a press conference organized by the news agency TASS, in which he talked about the publication of the Russian edition of The Archer and the new illustrated edition of The Alchemist.
